Native Wedding Flowers Delivered to Greensborough by a Melbourne Wedding Florist
Australian native flowers continue to be one of the most requested styles for Melbourne wedding flowers, offering couples a timeless combination of texture, colour and natural beauty. As an experienced Melbourne wedding florist, we love designing bespoke native bouquets that celebrate Australia's unique flora while reflecting each couple's individual style.
For this recent wedding, we delivered the bridal flowers to our bride in Greensborough before she celebrated her special day at Ballara Receptions in Eltham. She wanted a bouquet filled with warm cream, orange and yellow tones that embraced the relaxed elegance of Australian native flowers.

Native Bridal Bouquets Featuring Proteas, Banksias and Australian Foliage
The bridal bouquet was handcrafted using a stunning collection of Australian and native styled flowers, including magnificent proteas, textured banksias, delicate wax flower and beautiful blushing bride.
To soften the design, we incorporated flowering wattle and fresh eucalyptus gum foliage, creating natural movement and plenty of texture throughout the bouquet. The bride also had one special request, to include dark tea tree foliage. Its rich burgandy tones added depth and contrast while giving the bouquet an even more authentic Australian feel.
The combination of cream, soft orange and golden yellow flowers created a warm and elegant colour palette that perfectly suited the surrounding landscape and complemented the beautiful setting of Ballara Receptions.

Why Australian Native Wedding Flowers Are So Popular
Native bridal bouquets have become one of the most popular choices for modern weddings. Their distinctive textures, earthy colours and sculptural forms create bouquets that feel both elegant and relaxed.
Many Australian native flowers are also exceptionally hardy, making them ideal for weddings throughout Melbourne's changing seasons. Flowers such as proteas, banksias, waxflower and blushing bride hold their shape beautifully throughout the day and photograph exceptionally well from the ceremony through to the reception.
Native flowers pair wonderfully with rustic, garden, winery and contemporary weddings, making them one of the most versatile floral styles available.
Matching Native Wedding Buttonholes to Complement the Bridal Bouquets
Every member of the bridal party wore handcrafted native wedding buttonholes designed to perfectly complement the bridal bouquets. Featuring delicate blushing bride, waxflower, flowering wattle and textured gum foliage, each buttonhole reflected the same warm cream, orange and yellow colour palette. These small floral details tied the bridal party together beautifully, creating a cohesive look that photographed perfectly and showcased the natural beauty of Australian native flowers. Designed by our experienced Melbourne wedding florist, the buttonholes provided the perfect finishing touch to this stunning native-inspired wedding.
