Shipping & Delivery Policy – Lillypad Flowers & Events

This policy applies to all orders placed with Lillypad Flowers & Events via our website, by phone or in store. Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.


Delivery areas

We deliver fresh flowers, plants, hampers and gifts to suburbs within our local delivery area from Preston, Melbourne.

For deliveries outside our local area and interstate, we offer an Australia-wide delivery service through Interflora. Only products listed in our Interflora Australia Wide section are eligible for this service.

Delivery fees

  • A delivery fee is calculated at checkout based on the distance from Preston, Melbourne.

  • A fixed $19.95 delivery fee applies to all Interflora Australia-wide orders.

  • A surcharge applies to priority, timed or AM deliveries, in addition to the standard delivery fee.

Delivery times

All-day delivery 8:00am – 7:00pm
AM delivery 8:00am – 11:59am
PM delivery 12:00pm – 7:00pm
By 10am / Express Pre-approved or ordered 24hrs in advance

We make every effort to meet your preferred delivery time, but exact times cannot be guaranteed unless you have selected and paid for a timed or AM delivery service.

Same-day and next-day delivery

Same-day delivery may be available depending on your location and the time your order is placed. Please contact us directly to confirm availability.

Orders requiring delivery by 8:00am or 10:00am must be placed at least 24 hours in advance or pre-approved by our team.

When the recipient is not home

If the recipient is not home, our driver will look for a safe place to leave the order (e.g. front door away from street view, shaded area or with building management).

If no safe location is available, the order will be returned to our store and a redelivery fee will apply to arrange a new delivery time.

Incorrect or incomplete addresses

Please double-check all delivery details before submitting your order. If a delivery attempt is made and the address is incorrect, incomplete or the recipient has moved, an additional redelivery fee will be required to complete delivery to the updated address.

Extreme weather

In cases of extreme heat, heavy rain, storms or other severe weather conditions, we may be unable to safely deliver your order. In these circumstances, we will contact the recipient to arrange a new delivery date. Exact delivery times cannot be guaranteed unless a timed service has been paid for.

Special delivery locations

Special delivery conditions may apply to hospitals, hotels, airports, funeral parlours, crematoria and cemeteries. In some cases, orders may be left at reception or with a third party in line with venue policies.

Peak days

On peak days such as Valentine's Day and Mother's Day, we operate an all-day delivery service only. Unless you have paid for a timed or AM delivery, we cannot guarantee a specific delivery time on these days. Due to high demand, late changes or specific time requests may not always be possible.

Interflora Australia-wide deliveries

Orders placed through our Interflora Australia Wide section are transmitted to a participating Interflora florist near the delivery address, who creates and delivers your gift. A flat fee of $19.95 applies to all Interflora orders.
