A Huge Day for Lillypad Flowers

The Wedding and Bride Expo at Melbourne Showgrounds on Sunday January 10th was such an incredible day for the Melbourne wedding industry, and we were so excited to be part of it.

For us at Lillypad Flowers Melbourne, it had actually been quite a while since we had exhibited at a large scale wedding expo, so heading into the day there were definitely a few nerves and plenty of excitement. But from the moment the doors opened, the atmosphere was amazing and the day quickly turned into a huge success.

Hundreds of brides visited throughout the expo, creating such a beautiful energy across the entire space. One of the biggest reliefs for us was the weather. With fresh florals on display all day, the mild 23 degree weather honestly could not have been more perfect. Anyone working with flowers knows how important that is during a long expo day, especially at a busy venue like Melbourne Showgrounds.

Meeting So Many Excited Melbourne Brides

One of our favourite parts of wedding expos will always be the conversations. We absolutely loved meeting so many engaged couples, hearing about their wedding plans, venues, colour palettes, and all the little details they were dreaming about for their big day.

There is something so special about speaking to brides in person and watching their excitement build as they begin planning one of the biggest moments of their lives. We had so many lovely conversations throughout the day and met brides from all across Melbourne who were genuinely excited about creating beautiful wedding florals.

The giveaways throughout the expo also created such a fun atmosphere and added even more excitement for couples attending on the day.

Working Alongside Incredible Wedding Vendors Melbourne

Another highlight for us was being surrounded by so many talented Wedding Services Melbourne vendors. The wedding industry can be incredibly busy, so events like this are always a great opportunity to reconnect with other creatives, support one another, and spend the day alongside people who genuinely love what they do.

From photographers and celebrants to stylists, entertainers, and venues, there was such a strong sense of community throughout the expo, and we felt incredibly grateful to be part of it.

For Lillypad Flowers Melbourne, the Wedding and Bride Expo was more than just a successful event. It reminded us how much we genuinely love connecting with couples face to face and being part of the excitement leading into such an important chapter of their lives.
