Ballara Receptions is a beautiful Melbourne wedding venue with plenty of opportunities to create a celebration that feels completely your own.

A wedding expo is a great way to experience the venue while also meeting the suppliers who can help bring your plans to life. Instead of trying to organise everything from your phone or computer, you can walk through the venue, see ideas in person, ask questions and chat with wedding professionals about what you're imagining.

And honestly, sometimes the best wedding ideas happen when you're simply having a conversation.

We'll be at the expo representing Lillypad Flowers, and we'd love for you to come and say hello.

Flowers are one of our favourite parts of wedding planning because they can completely change the atmosphere of a space. They can make a room feel romantic and intimate, bring colour into a ceremony, soften a venue or create that wow moment when your guests walk into the reception.

Our biggest piece of advice for couples planning their wedding is to think about the feeling first.

We also love talking to couples about seasonal flowers. Working with what's naturally available at the time of your wedding can open up some beautiful options and often gives your flowers a more natural, individual feel.
