Recently, a lovely customer from Reservoir came to us after losing a dear friend. She had been a Lillypad customer for many years, having visited our old stores in Reservoir, so it meant a lot to us that she returned to Lillypad in Preston during such a difficult time.

She wanted something beautiful and gentle to honour her friend, and together we created a custom sympathy box arrangement in soft peach, blush pink and white.

Our customer wanted something soft and peaceful rather than traditional or overly formal. We chose a delicate palette of cream, white, soft peach and blush pink, creating an arrangement that felt warm, comforting and full of natural beauty.

For this arrangement, we used a beautiful combination of premium seasonal flowers, including:

• Cream kale
• Soft peach lisianthus
• Reflexed peach roses
• White premium roses
• Blush pink gladioli
• White delphinium
• Andromeda
• Fragrant witch hazel

The reflexed peach roses were particularly beautiful, with their petals opened out to create a soft, garden-style appearance. Combined with the premium white roses, they gave the arrangement plenty of fullness while keeping the overall feeling gentle and elegant.

The white delphinium added beautiful height and movement, while the blush gladioli brought another layer of softness and colour.

And then there was the witch hazel.

Its beautiful fragrance was such a lovely finishing touch, adding another sensory element to the arrangement.
