Amaris and Sam’s wedding at Ballara Receptions was the perfect blend of timeless romance and natural beauty. Surrounded by stunning gardens, lakeside views, and peaceful greenery, their celebration felt elegant, intimate, and effortlessly beautiful from beginning to end.
As florists, Ballara is always one of our favourite venues to work at. The beautifully maintained gardens and natural landscape create the dreamiest backdrop for wedding flowers, allowing every arrangement to feel soft, romantic, and perfectly at home within the space.
Romantic Floral Styling in Pink and Plum Tones
For Amaris and Sam, we wanted the florals to complement the venue’s beauty rather than compete with it. Amaris was especially drawn to rich pink and plum tones, creating a romantic colour palette that felt both modern and timeless.
One of her special requests was to include dahlias throughout the floral styling, a detail we absolutely loved bringing to life. Dahlias added softness, texture, and depth to the arrangements, perfectly complementing the romantic garden feel of the day. Paired with fresh greenery and layered seasonal blooms, the flowers created a beautifully elegant atmosphere that felt refined yet natural.
Every floral detail was intentionally designed to blend seamlessly into Ballara’s gardens while still making a statement.

One of the most special parts of the day was seeing how naturally the flowers worked within Ballara’s outdoor spaces. From the ceremony setting amongst the gardens to quiet moments captured by the lake, every corner of the venue offered something breathtaking.
The lush greenery and natural light created the perfect setting for romantic portraits and meaningful moments shared between family and friends. It’s this connection between nature, florals, and emotion that makes garden weddings at Ballara feel so magical.
