Finding Their Wedding Florist Through Instagram

Like many modern couples, Chlaritsa and Davin discovered Lillypad Weddings through Instagram. After exploring our portfolio of Melbourne wedding flowers, they fell in love with our natural garden-inspired designs and elegant wedding styling.

Their vision was clear from the beginning. They wanted a wedding that felt sophisticated yet relaxed, stylish yet welcoming. With guests travelling from overseas to celebrate with them, creating a beautiful atmosphere that felt warm and memorable was incredibly important.

Working closely together, we designed floral arrangements that complemented the contemporary rooftop setting while allowing the spectacular Melbourne skyline to remain a focal point throughout the celebration.

A Stunning Rooftop Ceremony Above Melbourne

Fleet Rooftop provided the perfect backdrop for their ceremony. Perched high above the city and located above the Vibe Hotel Melbourne, the venue offered sweeping views that created an unforgettable setting for Chlaritsa and Davin to exchange their vows.

For the ceremony, we designed a romantic floral arbour featuring premium white roses, delphiniums, dogwood cascading baby's breath and fine fern. The combination created a soft cloud-like effect while maintaining a timeless elegance that perfectly suited the modern rooftop space.

The result was an elegant statement piece that framed the couple beautifully while enhancing the rooftop's already spectacular views.

A Simple and Sophisticated Bridal Bouquet

One of our favourite design elements from the day was Chlaritsa's bridal bouquet.

Rather than opting for an elaborate arrangement, she chose a beautifully understated bouquet of elegant white arum lilies. Sometimes the simplest designs make the greatest impact, and this bouquet was a perfect example.

The sculptural form of the arum lilies complemented her bridal gown beautifully while reflecting the contemporary styling of the entire wedding. The bouquet felt sophisticated, modern and effortlessly chic—everything Chlaritsa had envisioned for her wedding day.

Against the Melbourne skyline, the clean white blooms looked absolutely stunning in every photograph.

Intimate Reception Styling with Elegant Floral Details

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed an intimate rooftop reception filled with laughter, conversation and celebration.

For the guest tables, we continued the minimalist yet luxurious floral styling through a collection of delicate bud vases. Each vase was carefully arranged with beautiful arab's eye blooms, fragrant mock orange and elegant snapdragons.

The bud vase styling created a relaxed and modern feel while allowing guests to easily interact across the tables. The floral designs added softness and texture without overwhelming the intimate atmosphere of the reception.
