Warm Autumn Wedding Flowers at Panama Dining Room Fitzroy
On the 18th of April 2026, we had the pleasure of creating wedding flowers for beautiful bride Annelise at the ever-stunning Panama Dining Room. As a Melbourne florist, it’s always a joy returning to this venue. We’ve worked at Panama many times over the years, and every experience is seamless thanks to their incredibly accommodating and professional team.
The venue itself offers the perfect backdrop for modern weddings with its warm interiors, natural light, and relaxed Fitzroy atmosphere. For Annelise’s wedding, the floral styling focused on rich autumn-inspired tones including burnt orange, peach, nude, ivory, sage, and soft toffee shades.

A Relaxed and Romantic Autumn Colour Palette
Annelise gave us creative freedom to work within her chosen colour palette and overall theme, which is always something we love as florists. It allowed us to carefully select flowers that felt seasonal, textural, and naturally connected to the warm tones of April in Melbourne.
We incorporated a beautiful mix of roses, native flowers, and seasonal blooms throughout the wedding styling from her wedding bouquet, buttonholes, centrepieces, welcome board, bar flowers to the ceremony installation. The toffee roses added depth and softness, while peach and nude tones brought warmth and elegance to the arrangements. Sage foliage balanced the palette beautifully, creating an organic and romantic feel across the ceremony and reception flowers.

For the ceremony flowers, we designed lush statement arrangements featuring a beautiful combination of fresh and artificial flowers layered together for depth, softness, and movement.
The designs featured fresh toffee and quicksand roses paired with textured wattle gum, creating a warm and earthy foundation throughout the styling. We then incorporated premium artificial hydrangeas, peonies, cosmos, flannel flower, and additional hydrangea throughout the arrangements to add fullness and softness while maintaining the romantic colour palette.
The mix of fresh and faux flowers worked beautifully together, allowing us to create larger-scale ceremony arrangements with plenty of impact while still keeping a natural and elegant feel.
Combining Roses, Natives and Seasonal Flowers
One of our favourite parts of designing this wedding was blending classic romantic flowers with textured Australian natives. The combination created arrangements that felt modern yet relaxed, perfectly suited to Panama Dining Room’s contemporary setting.
Using seasonal flowers also allowed the designs to feel fresh, natural, and full of movement. Each arrangement was intentionally designed to complement the venue without overpowering the space, allowing the warm tones and layered textures to speak for themselves.
