Ashlea & Nick’s Farm Vigano Wedding Flowers - White & Green Wedding Flowers Melbourne

A Romantic White & Green Wedding at Farm Vigano

Farm Vigano South Morang Wedding Venue

We absolutely loved creating the wedding flowers for Ashlea and Nick at Farm Vigano in South Morang.

From the moment Ashlea and Nick came to us, they had a beautiful vision in mind. They wanted their wedding flowers to feel romantic, fresh and elegant, with a classic white and green colour palette running throughout the day.

They were also wonderfully open to using seasonal flowers, which gave us the freedom to choose some of the freshest and most beautiful blooms available while bringing their vision to life.

For us, this is one of the most exciting parts of designing wedding flowers. Couples often come to us with a colour palette, a few favourite flowers and some inspiration photos, and we get to turn those ideas into something completely personal to them.

Ashlea and Nick's flowers became a beautiful mix of premium roses, delicate orchids, lush greenery and seasonal blooms, all working together to create a romantic floral story throughout Farm Vigano.

Ashlea’s Premium White Playa Blanca Rose Bridal Bouquet

South Morang Wedding Flowers

Ashlea's bridal bouquet was one of our favourite pieces from the day.

For the main flower, we used premium white Playa Blanca roses, carefully reflexed to create a gorgeous open and luxurious shape.

Reflexing roses involves gently opening and shaping the outer petals so the rose becomes wider and more sculptural. It gives the flowers a beautiful, romantic appearance while allowing you to see more of the individual petals.

The result was a soft, premium white rose bouquet that felt incredibly elegant without being overly traditional.

But what really made Ashlea's bouquet special was the addition of cascading white Phalaenopsis orchids.

The orchids gently flowed down from the bouquet, creating movement and a beautiful elongated shape. We loved the contrast between the structured, reflexed roses and the naturally delicate shape of the orchids.

It was romantic, sophisticated and completely suited to Ashlea.

Cascading White Phalaenopsis Orchids

We have always loved using orchids in bridal bouquets, particularly when a bride wants something a little different from a traditional round bouquet.

White Phalaenopsis orchids have such an elegant presence. Their delicate petals and natural cascading shape can completely transform a bouquet.

For Ashlea, they added that beautiful finishing detail that made her bridal bouquet feel modern and luxurious while still remaining soft and romantic.

Against her gown, the white roses and orchids created a gorgeous bridal look, and we think the photographs captured the flowers beautifully.

A Beautiful White Floral Arbour at Farm Vigano

The ceremony arbour continued the white and green wedding theme beautifully.

We created the arbour using white roses, Queen Anne's Lace and green hydrangea, creating a floral design that felt lush but still natural within the Farm Vigano setting.

The white roses provided the classic romantic element, while Queen Anne's Lace added a delicate, almost meadow-like texture.

Green hydrangea brought fullness and a beautiful fresh green tone, helping connect the flowers with the natural surroundings.

We always love designing ceremony flowers with the venue in mind. Rather than simply creating an arrangement that looks beautiful on its own, we consider how the flowers will photograph, how they frame the couple and how they work with the architecture and surroundings.

At Farm Vigano, the natural setting already provides so much beauty, so we wanted the flowers to enhance it rather than compete with it.

Lush White & Green Wedding Centrepieces

For the reception, we continued the same colour palette but introduced different flowers and textures to give the table arrangements their own personality.

The centrepieces featured dahlias, white roses and green amaranth, creating lush arrangements with plenty of movement.

Dahlias are such a beautiful choice for wedding flowers because they have so much detail within each bloom. Combined with the soft, classic shape of the roses, they created plenty of texture throughout the arrangements.

We also loved incorporating green amaranth, which added movement and allowed the flowers to naturally trail through the centrepieces.

This combination created a reception style that felt romantic and abundant without being too formal.

Lush Mantel Flowers with Seasonal Blooms

Another standout floral feature was the mantel arrangement.

For this design, we wanted to create something lush, textural and full of interesting floral details.

The arrangement featured green lotus pods, green hydrangea, white roses, white delphinium and dahlias.

The lotus pods were a particularly beautiful addition, bringing a natural architectural shape and something a little unexpected to the arrangement.

Green hydrangea helped create the lush foundation, while the white roses and dahlias added softness and fullness.

The white delphinium brought height and movement through the design, creating a lovely contrast against the lower, fuller flowers.

We love arrangements like this because there is something new to discover each time you look at them.

Why We Love Seasonal Wedding Flowers

Ashlea and Nick were happy for us to work with seasonal wedding flowers, and this gave us plenty of creative freedom.

When couples ask us about seasonal flowers, we always explain that it can be a wonderful way to create something that feels natural and unique to their wedding.

Rather than being locked into one exact flower, we can select the freshest blooms available that fit the colour palette, style and budget.

For a white and green wedding in Melbourne, this can mean using a beautiful combination of roses, dahlias, hydrangea, delphinium, orchids and seasonal foliage, just as we did for Ashlea and Nick.

It also means that every wedding we create can have its own personality.

White & Green Wedding Flowers for Farm Vigano

Farm Vigano was such a beautiful setting for Ashlea and Nick's wedding.

The combination of the venue and surrounding landscape worked perfectly with their choice of fresh white and green wedding flowers.

From the bridal bouquet to the ceremony arbour, reception centrepieces and mantel flowers, we wanted every floral detail to feel connected.

The colour palette remained consistent, but the flowers changed throughout the day, allowing us to create different textures and shapes without losing the overall look.

This is something we particularly love about wedding floristry - creating one overall floral story while giving every individual arrangement its own moment.

A Wonderful Team of Melbourne Wedding Vendors

Beautiful wedding days are always the result of an incredible team coming together, and Ashlea and Nick had some wonderful Melbourne wedding professionals involved.

Their gorgeous wedding was photographed by My Scandi Style Photography, capturing the couple and all of the beautiful details throughout the day.

The stunning gown was supplied by Raffaele Ciuca Bridal, while Nikos Cakes created the wedding cake.

Hair and makeup were beautifully completed by Irena Hyssoli Hair and Makeup and Ellie Zuker Makeup.

We always love seeing the work of fellow wedding professionals come together. Every supplier brings something different to the day, and when all those details work together, the result is something truly special.
