Same Day Flower Delivery in Melbourne - How It Works
How Same-Day Flower Delivery Works
Sometimes you need to send flowers today. Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, thank-you, congratulations or simply a spontaneous surprise, same-day flower delivery makes sending flowers easy, even at the last minute.
At Lillypad Flowers, our experienced florists handcraft fresh arrangements and organise delivery across Melbourne, helping you turn an ordinary day into something special.
1. Choose Your Flowers
Start by browsing our collection of fresh flower bouquets and arrangements online. You’ll find designs suitable for birthdays, romantic occasions, new babies, celebrations, thank-yous, sympathy and more.
Because flowers are seasonal, the exact blooms available can vary throughout the year. Our florists may substitute flowers of similar value, colour and style when necessary, ensuring your arrangement remains beautiful and fresh.
2. Select Same-Day Delivery
When placing your order, enter the delivery address and select the available delivery date. If you need your flowers delivered today, check that same-day delivery is available for your suburb and order time.
Same-day delivery availability can depend on the delivery location, time of day, seasonal demand and flower availability. Ordering earlier in the day generally gives our florists more time to create your arrangement and organise delivery.
3. Our Florists Prepare Your Order
Once your order is received, our florists get to work.
Your flowers are carefully selected, conditioned and arranged by hand. We take care to create an arrangement that reflects the style and value of the design you selected while using the freshest suitable seasonal flowers available.
Every order is prepared with the same attention to detail - whether it’s a large romantic bouquet or a simple gesture to brighten someone's day.
4. Your Flowers Are Carefully Delivered
Once your arrangement is ready, it is prepared for delivery and sent to the recipient.
Our delivery team takes care when transporting flowers so your arrangement arrives looking fresh and beautiful. Delivery times can vary depending on the day, traffic, location and number of deliveries being completed.
For special occasions, we recommend placing your order as early as possible.
5. The Surprise Begins
The best part? Your flowers arrive at the recipient's door, ready to brighten their day.
Whether you're sending flowers to a home, workplace, hospital or another suitable delivery location, same-day flower delivery is a convenient way to show someone you’re thinking of them - even when you’ve left it until today.
