1.5 Metre White Oriental Lily Coffin Flowers Delivered in Melbourne

Premium White Oriental Lily Coffin Flowers in Melbourne

At Lillypad Flowers, we understand that funeral flowers are one of the most meaningful ways to honour and celebrate a loved one's life. Recently, we had the privilege of creating a breathtaking 1.5-metre coffin arrangement featuring nothing but premium white Oriental lilies for delivery to a Melbourne funeral home.

The finished tribute was absolutely stunning. The large, fragrant blooms created an elegant blanket of pure white flowers, providing a beautiful and peaceful farewell for a much-loved family member.

White Oriental lilies have long been associated with sympathy flowers, symbolising purity, remembrance and the soul's return to peace, making them a timeless choice for funeral and casket arrangements.

The Art of Designing with Oriental Lilies

Creating a coffin spray entirely from Oriental lilies is more challenging than many people realise.

Unlike roses or other cut flowers, Oriental lilies must be sourced at exactly the right stage of development. If they arrive too closed, they may not open in time for the service. If they are too advanced, they may be past their best on the day that matters most.

Our experienced florists carefully select lilies that will bloom beautifully for the funeral, ensuring the arrangement looks its absolute best when family and friends gather to say their final goodbye.

This particular tribute required careful planning and timing, but the result was truly spectacular and well worth the extra attention to detail.

Why We Recommend Ordering Custom Coffin Flowers in Advance

For families considering Oriental lily funeral flowers, we always recommend ordering as early as possible.

Advance notice gives us the opportunity to source premium-quality blooms and monitor their opening stages, ensuring they are perfect for the service. While we always do our best to accommodate short-notice requests, Oriental lilies can sometimes be challenging to prepare within tight timeframes.

Planning ahead allows us to create the beautiful, full floral tribute that your loved one deserves.
