Jewelled Corporate Floral Styling for La Trobe University

On Thursday 29th May, Lillypad Flowers was honoured to collaborate with La Trobe University on their annual Partner Showcase, an exclusive corporate networking and engagement event that brought together industry leaders, university partners, and innovation specialists.

Our brief was to create striking floral arrangements in deep jewel-toned hues, elevating the atmosphere of the event with bold colour and structural beauty. From the stage to the bar and entrance, our flowers helped transform the venue into a space that reflected sophistication, creativity, and celebration.

A Jewel-Toned Colour Story

Working with a rich palette of purple, magenta, sapphire blue, and burgundy, we selected high-impact seasonal flowers including:

• Magenta phalaenopsis orchids

• Deep purple lisianthus

• Blue delphiniums

• Burgundy roses and dahlias

• Dark-hued foliage and textured greenery for contrast

This dramatic colour story brought a luxurious and modern tone to the event, aligning beautifully with La Trobe`s branding and event theme.

Floral Styling Highlights

Stage Arrangements: Framing the presentation area, we designed two tall, sculptural stage arrangements in black vessels to anchor the space. Using layered heights and striking colours, these floral pieces enhanced visual focus for speakers and created a beautiful backdrop for photography and media.

Entrance Flowers: Guests were welcomed with tall entrance arrangements placed on plinths. Featuring orchids, roses, and delphiniums, these floral pieces made an immediate impact and set the tone for the evening ahead.

Bar Flowers: On the central bar, we styled low-profile yet vivid floral groupings that complemented the drinks service area without obstructing the view or interaction. The bar flowers extended the jewel-tone palette throughout the room, balancing colour and design seamlessly.

Feature Centrepieces: Placed on networking tables and styled feature areas, our centrepieces added height and movement, creating focal points that tied the event styling together.
