Eaglemont is one of the suburbs in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It is ten kilometers north-east of Melbourne’s Central Business District.

Stated by the 2016 ABS Census, there were only 3,873 people in Eaglemont. Of these, 51% were females and 49% were males. 73.9% were born in Australia. The next most common countries of birth were England 3.6%, Italy 3.3%, China 2.1%, India 1.5%, and Malaysia with 1.2%.
Two properties were built in the suburb in the 1840s. Hartslands was built by S.J. Browne, a novelist, and Leighton was built by the Bolden Brothers. Hartslands was in the region called “Mount Eagle”. It was then sectioned in 1853.
