Hire Terms and Conditions – Lillypad Flowers & Events

This hire agreement applies to all silk flower arrangements, props, vases and other hired items supplied by Lillypad Flowers & Events for weddings, events and other occasions.

1. Hire items and ownership

All hired items remain the property of Lillypad Flowers & Events at all times.

The hirer is fully responsible for the hired items from the time they are collected or delivered until they are returned to Lillypad Flowers & Events.

2. Hire period and return date

All hired items must be returned by the agreed return date confirmed at the time of booking.

The return date will be advised in writing by email, invoice or booking confirmation.

3. Bond and card hold

A security bond is required for all hired items.

The bond amount will be advised at the time of booking and may be taken as a card hold or separate payment.

The bond or card hold will be held for the duration of the hire period and will only be released or refunded once all items have been returned and checked by our team.

4. Late returns

If hired items are not returned by the agreed return date, a late fee of 30% of the total hire order value will be charged for each day or part day the items are overdue.

This fee may be taken from the bond or charged to the card details held on file.

5. Damage, loss and replacement

All hired items must be returned clean, undamaged and in the same condition they were supplied, fair wear and tear excepted.

If any item is lost, damaged, broken or stolen during the hire period, the hirer will be charged the full replacement cost of the item.

If the bond does not cover these costs, the outstanding amount may be charged to the card details held on file.

6. Return condition

Where applicable, hired items must be returned in their original packaging or containers.

Additional charges may apply if packaging or containers are not returned.

7. Acceptance of terms

By placing an order that includes hire items, paying a bond, or accepting delivery or collection of hired items, the hirer agrees to these Hire Terms and Conditions.

Our giveaways can vary throughout the year, however many include bridal party flower packages featuring bridal bouquets, bridesmaids bouquets, buttonholes and other wedding florals selected by the Lillypad team.

In some competitions couples may have full input into their wedding flower style, while others are florist choice designs where we create florals inspired by your wedding colours, gowns and overall aesthetic. Each giveaway will outline the inclusions and conditions clearly.

We usually announce our wedding flower giveaways through our Lillypad Weddings Instagram and social media pages. Entry instructions will always be included in the post, so make sure you are following along to stay updated on upcoming competitions.
