Rupert on Rupert

Tucked down a quiet Collingwood backstreet just minutes from Melbourne’s CBD, Rupert on Rupert is a converted warehouse wedding and event venue that blends industrial charm with vintage allure. Behind its oversized industrial doors lies an ever-evolving indoor garden, a sunlit Conservatory, polished concrete floors and a striking mix of steel, copper and glass, all warmed by a crackling wood fire.

First opened in 2015 by husband-and-wife team Ric and Mali Corinaldi, Rupert began life as a much-loved restaurant before becoming a full-time event space. Today it hosts weddings, private celebrations and corporate events of every size, from intimate dinners to large cocktail parties, with the same warm, family-style hospitality that made it a Collingwood favourite.

Rupert on Rupert can host the following events:

• Wedding ceremonies and receptions
• Tea ceremonies and cultural celebrations
• Engagement parties and milestone birthdays
• Bar and bat mitzvahs
• Corporate events and Christmas parties
• Product launches and fashion shows
• Wakes and life celebrations

About

Rupert on Rupert was born from Ric’s dream of creating a space that could exist in any city in the world, a sanctuary guests would long to return to again and again. More than a decade on, that vision lives on in every event we host. We believe great celebrations come down to three things: beautiful surroundings, delicious food and genuinely thoughtful service. Whether you’re planning a wedding, toasting a milestone with friends or launching your next big product, our team would love to welcome you to Rupert.
