Artificial Flower Hire – Terms & Conditions
Overview
These Terms & Conditions apply to all artificial, silk, and preserved flower hire items supplied by Lillypad Florist. By confirming your booking, you agree to the following terms regarding hire, use, care, and return of all items.
Hire Period
All artificial flower hire items are provided for a standard hire period of 1–2 event days, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Items must be returned on the agreed date unless an extension has been arranged in advance.
Extended Hire Fees
If hire items are kept beyond the agreed return date, an extended hire fee will apply.
This fee is charged per additional day and will be invoiced until all items are returned in full.
Security Bond / Deposit
A refundable security bond may be required for all hire orders.
This bond covers:
- Loss of items
- Significant damage
- Late returns
The bond will be refunded once all items are returned in acceptable condition and checked by our team.
Care & Handling of Hire Items
All artificial and silk florals must be handled with care.
Clients agree:
- Not to cut, alter, or permanently modify arrangements
- To keep items away from heat, open flames, or harsh weather where possible
- To avoid excessive bending or pulling of stems or structures
- To ensure items are stored safely when not in use
Lillypad Florist remains the owner of all hire items at all times.
Delivery, Setup & Collection
Delivery, installation, and collection will be arranged at the time of booking.
Where applicable:
- Setup will be completed at the agreed venue time
- Collection will occur after the event or the following day
- Items must be left in a safe, accessible location for collection
Any delays outside of agreed access times may incur additional fees.
Damage, Loss & Replacement Costs
Clients are responsible for all hired items during the hire period.
Charges may apply for:
- Lost items
- Broken structures or floral pieces
- Excessive damage beyond normal wear
Replacement costs will be charged at full retail value.
Venue Access & Conditions
Clients must ensure:
- Venue access is approved prior to setup
- Adequate time is allowed for installation and pack-down
- Any venue restrictions are communicated in advance
Lillypad Florist is not responsible for delays caused by venue restrictions or limited access.
Weather Conditions (Outdoor Events)
For outdoor installations, clients acknowledge that:
- Wind, rain, and heat may affect styling
- Additional securing methods may be required (charged if not pre-booked)
- We reserve the right to modify installation methods for safety
Substitutions & Design Adjustments
While artificial florals are pre-designed, minor substitutions may occur due to availability of specific stems or components.
Any changes will always maintain the overall style, colour palette, and design intent.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing.
Fees may apply depending on notice period:
- Deposit may be non-refundable
- Short-notice cancellations may incur partial or full charges
Ownership of Hire Items
All artificial floral arrangements, props, and structures remain the property of Lillypad Florist at all times and must be returned in full.
Agreement
By confirming your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions for artificial flower hire.
